2016 Jolly Old St. Nicholas Concert rings in the Holidays
A festive crowd of more than 230 guests were on hand at the Elmhurst History Museum's annual Jolly Old St. Nicholas Concert at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church on December 2. It was a wonderful kick-off for the holidays with St. Nick himself leading the way sharing his legendary tale and greeting the kids. The Elmhurst German choirs (Damenchor and Mannerchor) performed a number of German traditional carols. Thanks to the many generous participants who shared their dollars on the money tree to benefit the Yorkfield Food Pantry, as well as our volunteer elves. Happy Holidays to all!

2016 Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest

The 2016 Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest was bigger and better than last year, with close to 600 people in attendance on the Museum grounds on September 17th. The day included beer and cider tastings from over 30 craft brewers and live music by local guitarist Scotty Long. Many thanks to the event sponsors, the beer vendors, an enthusiastic group of volunteers, the Elmhurst Heritage Foundation and Rotary Club of Elmhurst for putting together a great day for all.
