Family Fall Fest

Dress in your Halloween best and take in the sights and sounds of autumn. Bring the family to Wild Meadows Trace for Safety Town trick-or-treating. There will be family photo opportunities, fall games, food trucks, and more! This events takes place every year in mid-October.

Family Day: Frankentoy Mobile Workshop

We invite you and your family to explore identity and the figure through hands-on art activities inspired by our current exhibition, The Figure and the Chicago Imagists: Selections from the Elmhurst College Art Collection, with visiting artist group Frankentoy Mobile.

Haunted History

Explore the creepy side of Victorian history! The adventure starts at Fischer Farm with a hayride to Churchville Schoolhouse to learn about eerie 19th-century postmortem photography, strange Victorian mourning traditions, and 1870s cemetery symbols. A lantern-lit walk through Churchville Cemetery and Fischer Woods back to the farm follows for tours and local ghost stories. Registration required: In person at Bensenville Park District, 1000 W. Special Kids Day - Halloween Dance

For kids with special needs, ages 12 and up. Join the Halloween party and dance all afternoon! We'll supply a few treats along with great music. Costumes are encouraged; please no masks or weapons. Parents do not need to stay. This is a free event. Preregistration will be required - check www.specialkidsday.org.
