Following Kristallnacht in November 1938, the Movement for the Care of Children from Germany was formed. In nine months almost 10,000 unaccompanied children were sent to Britain, most of them Jewish. Diane Samuels interviewed adults who were these Kinder, these children who survived the Holocaust, weaving their experiences of loss, guilt and discovery into the play.

Elmhurst’s Annual Art in Wilder Park will feature over 130 Midwest Artisans selling their unique one of a kind art. At the Lizzadro Museum, members of the West Suburban Lapidary Club will be demonstrating various forms of lapidary art.
This pop-up exhibition will feature artwork by local students from District 205, will take place Saturday, May 4th - Sunday, May 5th. Admission is free this weekend so come enjoy the exhibition and visit the museum's booth at Art in Wilder Park for an art activity.

Elmhurst's 23rd Annual Art in Wilder Park Presented by Main Street Candy & Toys will feature over 100 Midwest Artists, Kid's Court, Food Court, and Entertainment. Wilder Mansion will be open for coffee, pastries, and lunch both days between 10am-3pm. Elmhurst Art Museum and Lizzadro Lapidary Museum will also be open.
