Family Trees

Research Local History through Elmhurst Family Trees

The Elmhurst History Museum staff recently digitized a detailed collection of local family trees and they are now available to the public. The family trees were hand-drawn and lettered with careful attention to detail by a longtime volunteer, Mr. Ted Kross. Ted's diligent research and dedication to this project over many years allowed the museum to archive a valuable trove of historical data for some of Elmhurst's earliest families. Click on a family name link below to discover more about the city's early residents, and perhaps you'll reveal some surprising history about your own family!
