Cultural Arts Summer Camp for Kids

We are excited to offer our popular Museum Explorer Camp again in Summer 2024 for curious kids who are entering 2nd - 5th grade. The camp takes place here at the Elmhurst History Museum for one week.

  • Date: Monday, June 10 – Friday, June 14, 2024
  • Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Location: Elmhurst History Museum
  • Cost: $225/child


Museum Explorers Camp is designed for children who like to engage in a variety of STEAM activities with an emphasis on learning, cooperation, fun, and creativity in a respectful atmosphere. The camp format is structured with daily lesson plans incorporating age-appropriate activities with scheduled outdoor playtime and visits to other museums in the area. On the final day, campers will share their new knowledge with family and friends by building and displaying their own mini exhibition at a cookies and lemonade reception! Please note: The camp is managed by experienced museum staff professionals with trained assistants. Camp size is limited to 20 participants. Camp activities will require taking bus or Metra train for transportation to off-site locations.
