Volunteer

Learn, have fun, and make a difference in the community by volunteering with us!

Elmhurst History Museum is experiencing new growth with dynamic exhibits, interesting programs, a wide range of special events, and the school programs and events at the Churchville Schoolhouse. To support these efforts, the Museum is in need of volunteers of high school age or older in the following areas: Visitor Services, Education, Programs, Special Events, Office Clerical, Exhibit Installation, and Collections/Reference Services.

Depending on the task, volunteer opportunities are available most days of the week, and the commitment level may be as minimal as only four hours per month. Days and hours are flexible with training and orientation provided. A volunteer application is available below, or a printed copy can be mailed to you or picked up at the Museum gift shop. The Museum’s public hours are Sunday, Tuesday-Friday, 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

If you need more information or have a question, please call the Elmhurst History Museum at 630-833-1457 (Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m.) or send us an email.

Thanks for sharing your energy and talents with the Elmhurst History Museum!
